Born raised in Southwestern, Ontario, I moved to BC in October of 1998 after completing my first of three post-secondary educations with a honours diploma in Recreation Leisure Services from Fanshawe College in London, Ontario. I have always been fascinated with the west coast ever since taking a trip to LA at the age of 19 and I knew then I wanted to relocate to a city like Vancouver that was as far west as possible in Canada. Upon arriving in BC, I first settled in Whistler and utilized my interest education in recreation special events by working as a Recreation Programmer for the Resort Municipality of Whistler for 8 years through their multi-purpose recreational complex Meadow Park Sports Centre. It was in Whistler that I not only came out as a gay man but also played a key role in the organization of the Whistler Pride Week pool party that was hosted year after year out of our facility as part of their festival. Upon relocating to the lower mainland primarily in Vancouver since 2007, I have gained valuable professional experience in a number of leadership positions for various for profit, non for-profit, public, private, and or government organizations while personally travelling to other destinations to include; Puerto Vallarta, Palm Springs, San Diego, Las Vegas to take part in their gay boat&  pool parties as part of pride festivals. I have been inspired by these events over the years to get me to this point in my life where my philosophy of “living life to the fullest” is brought to fruition through a gay boat & pool party company that brings a fun, caring, and loving environment to first our Vancouver community then other communities across North America!!!
